CATTINA C. COLEMAN

Cattina Coleman was born May 25, 1985 in Harlem New York. Raised by her grandmother with being the youngest of two siblings; Cattina seem determined to be more than just an average girl from the hood. 

 

Abandoned by her mother at age 14 Cattina went off to a group home where her life would forever be changed. Sent from Group Home to Group Home Cattina had had her share of being shifted around. 

 

By age 18 Cattina went off to an independent living Group Home where she began her journey of being more than your average Group Home Girl. She started college and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice in 2008, by age 22. That same year Cattina went on to start her second Degree which was her Master's in counseling & psychology in 2010 by age 24. 

 

While pursuing her Masters Cattina started her career working for administrative services for children. This was Cattina's way of giving back for all that she has gained while being in Foster Care for over 10 years. 

 

After realizing that Social Services was no longer the best career path for her; she sought out to start her Doctorate In Business Administration in 2012, by age 26. After having an epiphany she resigned from Social Services for Children and became a Successful Author of not one but four Published books to date. Her best selller "SHOES vs. SNEAKERS" (2012 Xlibris) was her best seller.  "I'm Not BITTER I'm BETTER" (2013 Xlibris) and "To Have, To Hold, & To Never Let Go" (2012 Xlibris) was her best insightful relationship book for troubled relationships as per the Bloggers and Cattina's Fan Base. 

 

Cattina's most incomparable accomplishment was her first book, her baby, "Not Your Ordinary Group Home Girl" (2013 Xlibris). This book was to define who Cattina really was, where she came from, and where she was destined to be in life.

Cattina's past was the reason she was determined to be a force to be reckoned with. With three Degrees and attempting her Doctorate, she is and will always be the greatest young, Black, incomparable, self motivated young woman to have ever made it so far having been molded from a Group Home system.
